HRS is an independent company offering building supplies in Sheffield, Nottinghamshire Derbyshire and other parts of the East Midlands, to major builders and property developers, professional tradesmen and DIY enthusiasts alike.
HRS stocks building products from all of the major manufacturers and can place orders for any materials not held in stock. As well as a wide range of new and reclaimed building supplies, we offer specialist roofing services based on unrivalled expertise and our roots in the roofing trade.
We are conveniently located off the A38, just one mile from junction 28 of the M1. We serve the whole of the East Midlands, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire, Sheffield, and South Yorkshire and will deliver to your site in our own fleet of vehicles, which are suitable for off-loading by crane.
Because we understand that the needs of large corporate clients and DIY enthusiasts are very different, we supply materials, bagged, bulk or palleted, in quantities to suit your building project. And whatever the size of your order, our relationship with building supplies manufacturers means we can always offer very competitive rates.

Huthwaite Roofing Supplies opened for business in 1989 with the aim of providing a local source of roofing and paving materials to building and roofing companies, as well as the general public, across the East Midlands and South Yorkshire.
Staffed by well-known local experts in the roofing industry, Huthwaite Roofing Supplies quickly gained a reputation for sharing our knowledge of materials and techniques, to ensure that our customers received the best advice and service.
As our customers came to rely on us for their roofing supplies, they increasingly began to ask us to order other building supplies on their behalf. In response to this demand from our customers, we began to stock building supplies in 2003, so that customers could pick up all of their supplies from stock and, for standard building materials, wouldn’t have to wait for a special order.
This building materials side of our business steadily increased until the name Huthwaite Roofing Supplies no longer described our products and services. To remove any lingering perception of us as only a roofing supplies company, we changed our name to HRS in recognition of our role as suppliers of all new and reclaimed building materials to the building trades and general public.
We remain unrivalled experts in all roofing-related matters but can now offer a one-stop-shop and unbeatable service for all of your roofing, building and landscaping requirements.
